I can't see any shops around me
Makii needs your location to show what's nearby. If you declined, the app can no longer ask again by itself: turn it back on in your phone's settings, under Makii.
You can also search for a city in the search bar — Abidjan, Dakar, Marseille — without sharing your location.
A shop has closed, moved, or no longer exists
Unclaimed listings come from Google Maps: their hours and address are beyond our control. Email us and we'll fix it.
If you run the business, claim the listing from the app and you take over.
What does “What the community says” mean?
It's what users share with each other: which countries money is sent to, what's on the shelves, which languages are spoken.
A piece of information only appears on the map once a second person has confirmed it. That's what makes it reliable — and why your contribution matters.
My order
Tracking lives in the Orders tab. You get a notification at each step, if you allowed them.
Orders are collected in person: Makii does not deliver.
For a refund, contact the shop from its listing first. Write to us if they don't reply.
My account
You can delete your account from the app, under Profile, or from the dedicated page on this site. Deletion is permanent.
Browsing Makii needs no account. You only need one to order, review or contribute.
I run a shop
Being listed on the map is free. You only pay if you sell online: 10% of orders paid in the app.
